Hiding

A lovely young woman fleeing her wicked stepfather and a forced marriage to an ageing wife-beater… A handsome stranger, also on the run from marriage to a manipulative, blackmailing lover… Two spirits fighting to stay free, they’re thrown together by a terrible riding accident in which the stranger’s knocked unconscious and taken to a nearby farmhouse.
And it’s there they discover they’re kindred spirits. Fighting off a gang of murderous highwaymen on their flight to the sanctuary of the stranger’s home, they gradually come to understand that their Fates are intertwined – they’re not just running for their lives, they’re running for their love.
